Raymond Chan Wine Reviews
Campas de Viento Tepranillo 2013
Availability Almost sold out
- Made from 100% Tempranillo from ‘Campos de Viento’, La Mancha, and bottled without oak aging.
- The nose is soft and gently full with lifted aromas of ripe dark raspberry fruit, red liquorice and florals, the bouquet pretty, easy and uncomplicated.
- Medium-bodied, up-front sweet raspberry, red liquorice and redcurrant fruit flavours form a lively, juicy core with fresh, lacy acidity. Soft, light, drying tannins emerge to fill the palate, and envelope the fruit, carrying the wine to a dry, grainy, moderately sustained finish. This is a gently juicy Tempranillo with raspberry and floral fruit, encased by dry tannin extraction.
- Screwcap. 13.0% alcohol content.
